Liugong to showcase everyday electric solutions at Vertikal Days 2026

LiuGong has announced that they will return to Vertikal Days 2026 with one of its most comprehensive battery-electric access equipment displays in the UK.
In a market where electrification is increasingly becoming an operational decision, LiuGong will focus on practical application, operator productivity, and real customer experience. Under the theme “Expert Insight. Proven On Site.”, the global equipment manufacturer will showcase access equipment already helping customers across Europe complete everyday tasks safely, efficiently, and with lower operating costs.
First introduced at Hillhead 2026, “Expert Insight. Proven On Site.” reflects LiuGong’s commitment to helping customers make informed equipment decisions based on real operational experience rather than marketing claims.
At Vertikal Days, that message takes on a different perspective. Rather than focusing on heavy quarrying and earthmoving equipment, LiuGong will demonstrate how the same engineering expertise applies to everyday battery-electric machines that support operators working at height, moving materials, and carrying out construction and maintenance activities.
Glyn Goodwin, AWP Sales Manager, LiuGong UK & Ireland, said: “Customers across the access equipment market are no longer asking whether electric machines work—they want to understand how they perform throughout the working day, how they fit into everyday operations, and the available support for them. Vertikal Days gives us the opportunity to answer those questions with purposely engineered equipment that visitors can see for themselves and discuss directly with the LiuGong team.”
Total Electric Solution
LiuGong’s exhibition at Vertikal Days reflects the company’s broader investment in battery-electric technology across multiple equipment categories. With plans to expand its global battery-electric portfolio to more than 40 models, LiuGong continues to invest in charging technologies, battery development, operator-focused design, and lifecycle support to help customers adopt electric equipment without compromise.
Among the electric equipment on display at the LiuGong stand will be the LS1632ERT rough-terrain scissor lift, designed for demanding outdoor applications requiring higher working heights and excellent terrain capability.
Alongside it, LiuGong will display the LS0610EC crawler scissor lift, the LA20JE articulated boom lift, and the LT20JE telescopic boom lift, purposely built for construction, industrial maintenance, and infrastructure projects. Together, the line-up demonstrates how LiuGong’s growing electric portfolio supports multiple applications, giving customers more opportunities to introduce battery-electric equipment into their existing operations.
Harry Mellor, Sales Director, LiuGong UK & Ireland, said: “The opportunity is not simply to replace one machine on a fleet with an electric alternative. It is to look at where different machines can work together across a customer’s operation. Our range now gives customers the opportunity to consider electrification across access, construction, and material handling, depending on the work they need to carry out.”
Backed by a Growing UK Dealer Network
LiuGong’s expanding electric portfolio is supported by a growing dealer network across the UK and Ireland, providing customers with local sales expertise, technical support, servicing, and parts availability.
As more businesses explore electrification on site, reliable aftersales support continues to play an increasingly important role in purchasing decisions. Over the past year, LiuGong has strengthened its dealer network in the UK through the appointment of Dragon Plant Sales in South Wales and Lloyd Ltd in the north of England and Scotland, expanding local sales, service, and aftersales support for customers across key regions.
Together with its established dealer network, these partnerships continue to strengthen LiuGong’s market presence while ensuring customers receive ongoing support throughout the ownership journey.
Dean Thornewell, Managing Director, LiuGong UK & Ireland, said: “When customers invest in electric equipment, they’re investing in much more than the machine. They need confidence that technical support, servicing, spare parts, and product expertise are readily available whenever they’re needed. We’ve continued to strengthen our UK dealer network to ensure customers receive the level of support they expect from every LiuGong product.”
Visit LiuGong at Vertikal Days 2026
As the UK’s dedicated exhibition for lifting equipment, access platforms, cranes and telehandlers, Vertikal Days provides the ideal setting for customers to explore how battery-electric equipment is reshaping everyday working environments.
Visitors to the LiuGong stand will be able to explore the company’s growing electric portfolio, speak directly with product specialists, and discover how LiuGong machines are already supporting productive operations across construction, facilities management, industrial maintenance, logistics, and material handling applications.
As Mellor concluded: “We introduced ‘Expert Insight. Proven On Site.’ at Hillhead because customers are looking for evidence they can trust. That message is just as relevant at Vertikal Days. Visitors won’t just see electric machines—they’ll see how those machines fit into everyday operations and hear from the people who understand the applications behind them. That’s the difference we’re bringing to the show.”
