One of Takeuchi’s oldest customers has recently taken delivery of a 3-Series, 15-tonne TB3150R Excavator. Adding to an ever-expanding Eagle Plant fleet, across 23 nationwide depots.

In what is Eagle’s 50th year, adding the very latest 15-tonne model is significant. Always a Takeuchi supporter, Eagle have built one of the UK’s largest Takeuchi hire fleets. The relationship, which began in 1997, has grown to be an enduring partnership, with more than 600 Takeuchi machines found across the Eagle network of depots.

Nick Barrow MD Eagle Plant said:

“Our customers really like them; they are regraded both as powerful and reliable. As a busy hire firm they are without doubt the best machine for our business. Takeuchi UK are one of Eagle’s longest standing suppliers. These highly reliable machines have been an essential part of the Eagle fleet. The new TB3150R is the very latest addition and marks our 1,800th Takeuchi”

Jason Periam, Head of Sales, Takeuchi UK

“The delivery of Eagle Plant’s 1,800th Takeuchi machine is a significant milestone in a partnership that spans close to 30 years. As Eagle celebrate 50 years of trading and Takeuchi marks 30 years in the UK, this new TB3150R reflects the strength of our long-standing relationship and Eagle’s continued confidence in the Takeuchi brand”.

The new 3-Series TB3150R with fixed boom and short tail combines to offer a powerful yet compact machine in this 15-tonne weight class.

The machine features the latest Yanmar Stage V engine with keyless start delivering 14% more hydraulic horsepower, than its predecessor the TB2150R. This crucial upgrade boosts performance in simultaneous operations, particularly those requiring high pressure.

Launched at Hillhead 26, the new TB3150R is already proving, the company says, a popular choice of hirers and contractors.
