Flannery Plant Hire confirms major presence at UK Plant Expo 2027

Flannery Plant Hire has thrown its weight behind UK Plant Expo 2027, confirming a major presence at the new live plant event as both a sponsor and exhibitor.
Taking place on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 June 2027 at the Heart of England Events Centre in Warwickshire, UK Plant Expo will bring the industry back outdoors, with working machinery, live demonstrations and operators at the heart of the event.
For Flannery Plant Hire, the format struck a chord. The company has committed to exhibiting as well as sponsoring the event, with Safety and Skills Director Aaron Davis particularly keen on the combination of a dedicated B2B Friday and a Saturday that will also give families and young people the chance to experience the plant sector at close quarters.
Aaron said:
“For me, UK Plant Expo has the feel of the traditional plant shows many of us grew up with, when you could see machines working and have proper conversations with the people behind them. There is a bit of that SED spirit about it, and I think the industry has missed that.
“Friday gives us a focused B2B day where we can spend time with customers, suppliers and industry colleagues, but I’m equally excited about the Saturday. Bringing families along gives us a fantastic opportunity to put our industry in front of young people who might otherwise never think about a career in construction or plant.
“Skills are a huge part of what we do at Flannery. We need to show the next generation that this is a modern, highly skilled and technology-led industry with some brilliant career opportunities. If a young person comes to the show, sees the machines working, meets the people operating them and goes home thinking, ‘I could do that’, then that is incredibly valuable.
“That combination really appealed to us. It is a proper working plant show for the industry, but it also has the potential to inspire the people we need to bring into the sector in the future. That is why Flannery wanted to get behind UK Plant Expo in a big way.”
Flannery Plant Hire has placed skills development at the centre of its workforce strategy, operating training and apprenticeship programmes and a growing network of Operator Skills Hubs designed to create routes into plant operations and construction careers.
Announcing its support for the event, Flannery Plant Hire said:
“We’re delighted to support UK Plant Operator Magazine, home of UKPO Expo 27.
“We look forward to reconnecting with familiar faces, building new relationships, and taking part in what promises to be another fantastic event for showcasing the plant sector.”
UK Plant Expo 2027 is a two-day outdoor event where manufacturers, suppliers, plant hirers and operators can meet in a working environment, with Friday offering a strong industry and B2B focus and Saturday broadening the audience to welcome the wider plant community and families.
Flannery Plant Hire’s decision to back the event as both sponsor and exhibitor is a significant endorsement of that format, with further details of the company’s presence at the show to be announced in the run-up to June 2027.
