“We are here today with our simulator and the dozer challenge,” said M O’Brien Group’s Contracting Director Phil Heyden, “But it’s not just about attracting talent, it’s about getting new people into the industry making them aware of the opportunities that exist in construction and plant hire”.
“The dozer challenge is about digging out a 10m slot trench, 500mm deep and then replacing the soil,” added Phil. “We’ve had lots and lots of good entrants and the skill set was good. I’m excited to see who’s going to win it.”
