Competition Afternoon session – 12:30pm – 2:30pm
Winners of Categories Announced: 3pm (Sponsors attend to present prize)
Top 3 Operators Announced for Grand Finale
Grand Final: Three Lane Thriller: 3:30pm
Plant Operator of 2025 Announced on the Track: 4pm (All to attend pls)
On the day details:
60 finalists have qualified and have each selected x 5 challenges from the 10 on offer
There is a demo from SafetyShield Global where the operators and other industry stakeholders will be able to see the latest safety innovations.
Finalists have a lanyard with selections & suggested running order, thay have until 2:30 to complete.
Each challenge winner announced at 3pm will receive an engraved slate trophy & £250
The top 3 plant operators with the highest combined scores from their 5 challenges, will go head to head in the grand finale…The Three Lane Thriller. (If a tie, the number of 1st-2nd-3rd will determine).
Winner will be judged over a set criteria (not the fastest).
The event is judged by CITB & Independent Trainers, who’s decisions are final.
1,500 visitors are expected.
There is lots to see and do for visitors:
- >The largest simulator room in the UK will be open and manned by citb team to encourage visitors of all ages to sit on and operate a machine of their choice.
- >There is an opportunity for younger visitors to operate their first digger (under citb supervision) in a massive hook a duck exhibit
- >There is a Lego table with Lego prizes for the best creations from the table
- >We have a paintball gallery
- >There are remote trucks and sand pits
- >Each younger visitor will be given a treasure hunt that will engage and track them around the site
