The sun shone for the third successive show at ScotPlant 2024, over the two days this bi-annual event showcased to the Scottish plant industry, the very best products from the world’s leading manufacturers and distributors.

With the weather set the crowds were out in force at the Royal Highland Centre right next to Edinburgh airport.

We were looking forward to meeting and greeting the assembled exhibitors to find out more about what was new and what was on offer.

We firstly met with Sany where Telehandler Product Development Manager Philip Boddy was on hand to introduce the new product range of Sany Telehandlers.

The latest machine is the 7m telehandler which joins the 14m and 18m to complete the existing range. Powered by Deutz 3.6ltr stage V engines the machines are packed with features such as self-levelling chassis, auto RPM from a single joystick, reverse camera and distance sensors. There is also a load control system that reduces risk by limiting speed when the machine is loaded and carrying at height.
