Hitachi Construction Machinery UK (HCMUK) is proud to announce its accreditation as an NPORS Approved Training Provider and Accredited Training Centre, marking a significant milestone in their commitment to safety, skills, and professional development across the industry.
This recognition allows HCMUK to deliver training under the respected NPORS framework, ensuring that their workforce benefits from nationally recognised standards of competence and operational excellence.
Initially, the training programmes will focus on equipping HCMUK employees with the essential knowledge and practical skills required to operate safely and efficiently. By embedding NPORS standards into their internal training, they are laying the foundation for a culture of continuous improvement and compliance that supports both individual growth and organisational success.
Looking ahead into 2026, Hitachi Construction Machinery UK will expand its offering to external candidates, delivering a wide range of courses across material handling, plant operations, and safety disciplines.
David Roberts, CEO of Hitachi Construction Machinery UK Ltd commented, “I am delighted to announce Hitachi Construction Machinery UK as an NPORS approved training provider and accredited training centre. Although our immediate focus will be to ensure we have a consistent approach to how we train and support our own employees using the NPORS framework, later in 2026 we will be extending the scope of our training offering as a Corporate Commercial training provider to other relevant stakeholders such as our customers and other local businesses” .
Scott Johnson, NPORS Business System and Project Director commented, “We are delighted to welcome Hitachi Construction Machinery as an Approved Training Partner. By joining the scheme, HCMUK now has its own NPORS-accredited instructor, ensuring that plant, machinery and site health and safety training and testing standards are consistently upheld across the business. We’re thrilled to have the business on board and look forward to building a strong and successful training partnership”.
