A big boom in the construction sector means great opportunities for job-hunters, with major employers looking for staff to train for jobs in the construction sector – particularly as plant operators.

Find out more at our Construction Careers Day where you can meet the top construction employers who need new workers NOW! Employers include Mick George, Flannery, Lynch and many more. Openings include Plant Operator Apprenticeships and lots more.

There will also be have-a-go activities including Flannery excavators and Volvo simulators and talks from Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and Construction Plant-Hire Association (CPA).

 

Why train for a job in Construction?

Apprenticeships are for everyone and provide practical on-the-job training in the workplace along with one day a week in college. You’ll be paid a wage during your Apprenticeship and receive the usual benefits of employment, such as holiday pay.

We have a wide range of construction apprenticeships here at CRC. We offer courses on; Built-up Felt Roofing, Construction Maintenance, Electrical Installation (Electrician), Painting & Decorating, Plumbing, Trowel Occupations (Brick), Bench Joinery, Site Carpentry and Plant Operations.
