Paul Davidson runs his own small plant business in County Londonderry Northern Ireland.

He left school and started as an apprentice in the aeronautical engineering industry for bombardier aerospace.

Paul says “I really missed the outdoor life so after 5 years I started out in 2004 with a 6 ton Kobelco.

Today I own and operate an all Hitachi fleet of 85’s 38’s and 33’s. I run a Rototilt R1 and an “i dig” on my 38 and have a Rototilt coming for my 85 this May.

We are currently working on several projects that couldn’t be any different, one is local school preparing for a big play area, whilst the other is over at a pig factory where we have to prepare for a new substation for the installation of new services.

We carry out a wide range of work from peatland restoration work, utility work, private house refurbs to tarmac preparation.
