Lynch Plant Hire open Day
The Lynch family open day was held on Sunday 8th July 2018 and it was a fantastic success. The event was an opportunity for the staff, suppliers, customers, and local community share in the celebration of the business and the opening of the new offices in Boundary Way, Hemel Hempstead. ” This is the platform for success” commented Merrill Lynch Operations Director.
Merrill went on to say “Our new premises we will be able to continue to support our business growth and meet our customers hire demands. This event is back by popular demand from our staff and customers alike. I personally attended the event and it was so good to see so many happy faces on children
and adults including my own!”
On the day Lynch had operator games, Ice Cream van, Hog Roast, Children’s soft play areas, Crazy golf, Bull Rider, Charity dunk tank, Live demonstrations of heavy plant and equipment, operator simulators, Balloon artist, face painting, training centre, recruitment tent and picnic zone.
“We are not able to do all our interaction over a mobile phone or email. We still stress a real importance on face to face interaction. commented Liam Moore, Senior Operator Manager.” We feel it’s very important to speak to our staff including operators and drivers, on a regular basis, this type of event is an opportunity to get up close and personal. I have seen so many frontline operatives today with their families. The mums and dads get a real buzz showing their children around the work place in a safe and comfortable environment. I am proud to be part of this year’s event and keen to ensure it grows year on year with “family” being the key word. I have seen so many smiling faces today and that brings a smile to the business face. I have to say a huge thank you to everyone that took part and got involved because without their efforts it would have not be so successful.
The event had over 3,500 guest turn up throughout the day!. Lynch will be planning more events in the future.
