GAP Hire Solutions, the UK’s largest independent and family-owned equipment rental company, has partnered with Hilti to kick start a tools awareness campaign called ‘Trust Our Tools’.
Having operated tools since 1987, GAP continue to show ongoing commitment to be a leading tool hirer in the UK. The collaboration with Hilti sees millions of pounds’ worth of tools being added to GAP’s ever-expanding tool fleet, which totalled 82,000 at the beginning of August 2018. The new stock primarily comprises of Hilti’s range of market-leading cordless, dust suppression, diamond coring and cutting tools.
GAP’s Operations Director for Plant & Tools, Mark Anderson, commented: “This initiative will take the total investment on tools to £10m by the end of the financial year. This record level of investment underscores the fact that GAP can be taken seriously as a tool hire business.
“Our customers already know that GAP can provide a full range of innovative, modern tools which are available for quick delivery when required. The promotional campaign with Hilti is aimed at organisations who are not yet aware that GAP is stand-out tool specialist in what is an extremely competitive environment.”
There are a large selection of tools available for instant collection or same day delivery, when ordered before 10am, from all 61 Plant & Tool depots situated throughout the UK. As a true national tool hire business, GAP is well placed to service building contractors specialising in fit out, refurbishments, mechanical and electrical works as well as electricians and plumbers.
Karen Greenshields, GAP’s Head of Business Development & Marketing, remarked: “Fulfilling the needs of our customers is a top priority. During the last two weeks, you will have seen our Marketing team promote some ‘teaser’ images on social media in the lead up to today’s launch in which our new Hilti tools became available for hire. GAP’s tools tick all the boxes when it comes to innovation, quality, reliability and performance.”
GAP is committed to continual improvement and reinvestment, meaning their customers can choose from one of the youngest fleets of tools and equipment available in the industry. GAP’s total capex spend over the last four years is in excess of £300m.
Karen continued: “If you’re looking for a new tool supplier with great service and pricing, fantastic family values and the most comprehensive range of tools in today’s market, give GAP a call.”
The ‘Trust Our Tools’ campaign will support the significant growth that GAP’s Plant & Tools division has experienced in recent years and will strengthen the company’s brand presence nationwide.
