Flannery Plant Hire are raising money for BBC Children in Need with the help of two specially branded spotty machines!
Flannery Plant Hire are delighted to supply and make available to hire their special telehandler and mini excavator, with all the rental charges being donated to the BBC Children in Need charity. The machines first mission has been to support a huge team of volunteers and develop a new base for Surfability UK. It is the UK’s first-fully inclusive surf school. Surfability UK currently supports more than 500 people from across the UK and gives disabled people the opportunity to take to the waves.
With the help of DIY SOS: Big Build volunteers, the Flannery Spotty Machines are currently renovating Surfability’s current space – a run down and disused bus shelter that has no electricity or water amenities – turning it into a well-designed surf suit and board storage unit. We all look forward to the show airing in November during BBC Children in Need Appeal week.

While Flannery machines are raising donations on site, the Flannery team will be taking part in their own socially distanced events in support of this great cause.
Flannery founder and Chairman Patrick Flannery will be hitting the road on his bike to cycle the equivalent distance between the two furthest apart Flannery depots (Wembley and Aberdeen) a total distance of 537 miles.
The Flannery team will tackle the famous Thames Bridge Trek in October and take part in a virtual pub quiz to unite their fundraising efforts together.
