Brought to you by UK Plant Operator Magazine, the team that delivers the UK Plant Operator of the Year competition.
To celebrate the fifth anniversary of the UK Plant Operator of the Year, the 2025 event is about to get bigger, better and be based in the heart of the country.
When: June 24th & 25th 2025
Where: Warwickshire Event Centre, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, CV31 1XN.
UK Plant Operator of the Year is now a proven and established event, providing a unique environment in which contractors and the wider construction industry, plant hirers and the equipment manufacturers can build connections with operators.
The 2025 event is about to get a whole lot bigger, with a new date, new venue and new opportunities to increase engagement in the construction sector.
Why Now
With market confidence growing, an improving economy and sector outlook, there is an appetite for both exhibiting and visiting trade events.
The construction forecast for 2025 and beyond continues to show positive growth. With a focus on skills and retention top of mind for most in our sector there is an appetite for both exhibiting and visiting events, building relationships and celebrating our industries top talent.
Whilst many predicted the demise of live trade shows, the pandemic showed you don’t know what you’re missing until its gone.
UK Plant Operator of the Year has a proven record of delivering year on year exhibitor and visitor numbers. In 2023, 1,400 visitors (an increase of 45%) attended the event we held in partnership with the CITB at the National Construction College, over in Kings Lynn, Norfolk.
Now is the time to expand and extend the reach of this ever-popular live event.

What to Expect
If it moves you will see it moving, if it digs you will see it digging, if it lifts you will see it lifting.
The feedback we receive from our events to date are unanimous in their praise for the fact that visitors want to see live exhibits, they want to see live demos and they want to see the best Plant Operators in action and in competition.
Exhibitors as well welcome the opportunity to showcase their latest machines, safety solutions and technology all to improve performance, reduce risk and decarbonise construction, as well as an opportunity to gain valuable feedback from those who will ultimately utilise their solutions onsite.
UK Plant Expo 25 will be different, manufacturers will be able to uniquely demonstrate what it is their machine can do, by creating a task to challenge Plant Operators skill and judgement.
This, alongside acres of dedicated digging demos, on stand working exhibits and competitive challenges. All undertaken by the UK’s very best- and well-known plant operators, all for the biggest prize fund on offer in the UK.
Live interviews with the plant operators, live coverage of the machine challenges, live commentary from an experienced team…Think Formula 1, think UK Plant Expo 2025.
Meet and connect with the people from the world’s best construction equipment manufacturers, innovative solution providers, distributors, hirers and contractors.
