JCB MUD RUN 2017

We’re delighted to announce that the next messy encounter in the Staffordshire countryside will take place on Saturday 1st July 2017.

What started as a one-off charity event in 2012, attracting 500 fun runners, has now become an annual fixture for our filthy followers. The JCB Mud Run has quickly grown to be one of the most challenging and fun obstacle races in the midlands.

A staggering 2,700 people came and took part in the fun for 2016 bringing over 8,000 spectators along with them.

With more obstacles and challenges this year, we’re already thinking how much muddier we can go.

Our chosen charity the NSPCC, will once again be at the heart of the event and the beneficiary of your messy antics. Last year we raised a whopping £55,000 and we’d really love to do the same this year…. Or just a bit more perhaps?

For the second year running the JCB Mud Run is a silver affiliate of the OCRA UK and following the success of 2016, we will be hosting an OCRA UK Qualifying Race once again. Entrants for this will take on an extended 10km Mud Run course and more obstacles. Find out more here.

Please help us spread the word by dishing the dirt on the JCB Mud Run 2017 to all your friends and followers. You can also tell us what you liked best, what you’d like to seen next time and when you’ve registered to take part. We’d love to see your posts on our social sites:
