Liebherr is incredibly proud to share the news that its mobile crane apprentice, Dean Johnston, was presented with not one, but two ‘Stars of the Future’ awards at the CPA presentation ceremony.
The event was held ‘in person’ in September at the Heart of England Conference and Events Centre in Fillongley, near Coventry.
Stars of the Future is an annual awards scheme for apprentices and trainees in the construction plant sector, set up by the Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA).
These awards are intended to recognise and reward outstanding apprentices and trainees who not only bring ability and commitment to their learning and work, but also possess those extra capabilities which mark them out as being potential future leaders of the industry. The scheme is open to anyone on an apprenticeship or formal training programme in the construction plant arena and any employer or training provider can nominate.
Tony Gribble, General Manager of After-Sales at Liebherr-Great Britain, comments: “Dean has consistently proven himself to be a very talented mechanic and dedicated employee of Liebherr and we are now so pleased to see that he has been recognised at an industry level as well. We hope Dean will continue to progress through the ranks and realise his full potential within the Liebherr group. Congratulations Dean.”
