We are delighted to announce the winner of the UK Operator of the Year Competition is David Vickers from Vickers Plant. David was a worthy winner based on his high scoring and faced off some stiff competition.
A huge thank you to everyone who made this competition happen especially all the sponsors listed below and the operators who participated. We would also like to thank O’Briens Plant Hire for their generous hospitality and help at their incredible quarry.
We would also like to thank our own crew Darren Scully who was compére for the day and Site Manager Kev Kelly.
This was the first year that UK Plant Operators Magazine hosted the Operator of the Year competition and we have been overwhelmed by the positive response we received from both operators and sponsors.
This will be an annual event and we are already in the planning stages for UK Operator of the Year 2022. We promise to grow this event each year and will have full details on how to enter soon.
